Abram and Lot puppets

Can't write your own songs? Think of a song that is already popular and change it up a little. That is what I did with these puppets that came out of our curriculum packet. Hopefully you recognize this song that I tweaked a little.
Song:
This land is your land.
This land is my land.
For God has given us,
because He love us.
Let us not bicker.
Let us not fight.
This land is meant for you and me.

Abram and Lot

I took two coffee cans of different size to illustrate this story. The characters have magnets on the back so they can stick to the can. At first all the characters go on the big can to show how crowded they are. Then Lot chooses the land on the big can for himself. The great thing about this visual is not only do the children respond well to this visual. All the characters, story outline, and the smaller can fits inside the bigger can.

Abram moves

Domino's was gracious to give me an empty pizza box, for this visual. My intent for this story suitcase is that it can be used for many different stories. These visuals allow you to tell the story of Abram and his family obeying God by moving to a new land. All of the scenes, characters, and an outline of the story will be in a zip lock back labeled Abram moves.

Noah's ark

This visual was made with a matchbox. On the back I printed words of a song that I sang as I slid the inside in and then back out.

Creation

I found this great toy at a Family Christian Store. I would take it out and open it up for each day. I would allow the children to pass it to each other as I sing the Creation song. The children seemed to really enjoy this visual.
